As IDA Mysuru chapter convener conduced program on the occasion of Dietetics Day, at Deepa Composite PU College, Roopanagar, Mysore,January/2019, “Anemia Mukt Bharath”.
The Adolescent children were addressed on prevention of Anemia, its symptoms, causes followed by interactive session. Few simple and easy snacks preparations and recipe were also shared with students and the teacher. Prof Asna Urooj, Dr Sushma Appaiah and Dr Sudha Sairam presented and discussed various aspects of Anemia and emphasized on daily inclusion of iron rich foods
